Remedies To The Top 10 Excuses For Not Working Out: By Jesse Jones Over the course of the last 10 weeks I have given you the different excuses that people
use for not working out, and as well I've equally displayed my utter disgust with each of them. Now when it comes to
excuse #10 I must say that I am actually somewhat pleased by the nature of this response as it depicts the highest level of
honestly among the other excuses listed. Anytime someone can look you in the eye and say "Simple and
plain, I hate it" toward anything they should be commended for their straight forward and to the point honesty...
Congratulations! Your truthfulness has instantly made you worthy of great respect. You have successfully overcome
my most basic of instincts that would cause me to lose respect for you, but you've failed tremendously in the ever so much
more important category of earning my acceptance of such ridiculous garbage. That's right! Here we go again. From the time of our childhoods, to our adolescence, and well on into adulthood we have all discovered
that many of the things we hate are the things that either can't be changed, are good for us, or aren't
really as much of a threat to us as we may think they are. This is not limited to only vegetables, school, church,
cleaning, hygiene, and other disciplines. Can a person really hate working out that much? When thinking of the
positive benefits of working out I really doubt it, as I am sure it must be about something else. So what
is it? Although a theory of man, I reallly believe it to be true that mankind tends to fear what they don't understand
and hate what they can't conquer. Whether or not you believe that is totally up to you, but the proof is there in many
examples and I'll give you a few. How many people hate top athletes or sports teams as a mere result of the fact
that they just haven't been able to beat or see them defeated? I know I have before and so have you. How often
is a person terrified at the idea of going somewhere, doing something, or giving way to an idea that is totally new?
We all have. How many people do you know of right now or in your past that is or has been totally threatened by someone
who is just different? Not strange but different. You see, the dynamics of fear and hate are one in the same in
the fact that they self-perpetuate and create a cycle that goes directly against the virtues of faith and love.
When one fears or hates something, that something doesn't stand a chance to make it past the stages of thought.
On the other hand, faith and love opens us up to a whole new world of possibilities that eventually rules out any fear that
may exist in our hearts. So how does this play into taking care of your body? When you
have a healthy respect for your life and your 1 and only body, you begin to experience the great joy of loving yourself, and
in turn creates a new level of respect from within that causes the value of self-care to increase. When you lack love
for yourself it only perpetuates self hate, in which then brings about fear, and fear is crippling, and as a result it causes
a lack of motivation to do anything about it. Everything in this world (positive or negative) reproduces more of it's
own kind, so wouldn't it be great to to reproduce the positive virtues of self respect, love, and faith toward the ability
to change your life for the better? To get the ball rolling in the right direction let me encourage you to just get
started by taking on my personal challenge to do 10 - 20 mins of exercise at least 3 days a week for the next month.
It usually takes about a month to build and/or break a habit, good or bad. It also gives your body enough time to reap
the benefits by feeling better, looking a little different, and increasing your overall ability and capacity that will
inevitably lead to a new level of self respect. If you don't know what types of exercises to do then go to the Phenom
1 Phitness facebook page and there will be a challenge every other day for you to do. Once you make this a habit,
it will then begin to start a new and positive cycle in your life. So as for the "Simple and plain,
Jess I hate working out" proclamation, allow me to say... DENIED! The real answer is that your lack
of self love has only gotten in the way of your ability to attempt to change, and it disguises itself as hate, and
the real problem is that you need to work on not being succeptible to any more FALSE-EVIDENCE-APPEARING-REAL.
Lastly, if anything we all shoud only fear the repercussions of not taking care of our bodies and lose the fear
of committment it takes to better ourselvelves. Once again, Thanks for reading.
